Follow the Facebook Event for updates and important info

This final public performance will highlight the 2018 Boysie Lowery Living Jazz Residency graduates’ completed work. The concert will be performed on the main stage at the Queen Theater by the student ensembles.

About:
The goal of the Residency is to introduce a select group (15 students in 2018) of young Jazz students (ages 17-25), who are selected by a competitive application process, to an intense two-week residency focused on performing, composing/arranging and improvisation. There is no application fee or tuition. Students receive a per diem for meals and housing. Applicants are required to live or attend high school or college anywhere in the United States or U.S. Territories. Lessons learned, compositions written, and skills gained in classes and workshops taught by a highly-respected faculty and master class clinicians are applied in several semi-public performances throughout Delaware during the two weeks.
