Xtianstock is a free outdoor concert event to raise funds and awareness for the Light Up The Queen’s Christian Salcedo Music Scholarship program.
Christian Salcedo was a beloved local musician and well-adored friend who passed away suddenly in July 2016. His spirit lives on with the Christian Salcedo Music Scholarship through the Light Up the Queen Foundation.
Join us on Thursday, August 6 for a day of fond remembrance in song dedicated to Christian Salcedo who brought good humor, kindness and wonderful music everywhere he went in life.
Featuring rare live performances by bands that Christian played with, including:
- The Porch Chops
- Nine Eyes
- The Rock Orchestra (featuring members of In The Light)
This family-friendly event is part of the Brandywine Red Clay Alliance FREE Summer Concert Series. Gates open at 6 with music beginning at 7. Food trucks will be on site each week, but you can also bring in your own cooler.
Although the event is free, donations will be welcomed. All proceeds from this event go to the scholarship fund, which was started in memory of Christian with the hopes of providing a cost-free musical instrument as well as financial aid for private music lessons to aspiring young musicians in need.
