Shine A Light® is an annual supergroup concert played by members of your favorite local bands, honoring some of their biggest influences. This is not your second-cousin’s Thursday Night cover band, this is a sensorial full-venue EXPERIENCE, a full visual spectacle, with a bright, immersive vibe.

This year’s theme is 1969! ✌🏻 From soul to rock, from country to pop, ‘69 was a year that lit the fuse for the explosion of the most memorable music era of a century.

More than 50 local musicians join together on one stage, swapping out members for ephemeral jam sessions and creating magical tributes to the musicians’ favorite artists. And all this is set amongst visual pops of color while you groove, sway, and enjoy signature food and drinks.

Shine A Light® concerts generate thousands of dollars in donations to The Light Up The Queen Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to preserving the Queen Theater and preserving arts education for children in our community. Funding allows children to take part in educational events such as the nationally-recognized Boysie Lowery Living Jazz Residency in the summer, that brings together young composers from all over the country to explore a rare learning opportunity.
